Tam O' Shanter's

there are at least seven restaurants in la claiming to be the oldest, but the fine print says that tam o's is the 'oldest restaurant operated by the same family in the same location.' very unfortunately less about the food and more about the vibe which is somewhat gimmicky but still perfect if you squint.
